Overview

Matan Perets grew up in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He completed his undergraduate studies at Coastal Carolina University and Berklee College of Music. Matan spent some time abroad before attending the University of South Carolina School of Law, graduating in 2022. During his time in law school, he served as Associate Justice of Internal Competitions for the Mock Trial Program, President of the Jewish Law Association (JLA), and was a member of the ABA Property Journal.

After law school, Matan began his career as an insurance defense attorney. In February 2024, he joined the Derrick Law Firm Injury Lawyers.

Matan enjoys playing music, spending time with his family, girlfriend, and dog, Winston.
