He has also handled an excess of 40 cases involving serious injuries sustained by railroad workers under the FELA (the Federal Employees Liability Act).
In the legal malpractice area, Richardson has handled excess of 60 legal malpractice cases and has obtained 2 judgments for his clients in excess of 10 million dollars, including a jury verdict for 15.6 million he won for a client in Federal Court in Chattanooga against a large Dallas, Texas law firm that had mishandled a transaction for a business client located in Chattanooga.
He has excess of 40 reported opinions from the cases that he has handled, including 8 opinions from the Tennessee Supreme Court. Several of his cases have been landmark cases that helped to change or expand the law in the State of Tennessee.
