Attorney Information

Overview

Ryan M. Womack is a Chattanooga, Tennessee attorney with Warren & Griffin, P.C. who represents individuals in personal injury and Social Security Disability cases. Since beginning his legal career in 2010, Ryan has focused his practice on helping injured and disabled individuals navigate some of the most difficult circumstances they will face.

Ryan represents clients who have been injured because of the negligence of others. His personal injury practice includes representing people injured in automobile accidents, tractor-trailer and commercial truck accidents, motorcycle accidents, and premises liability cases. He also represents families in wrongful death claims. During his career, Ryan has helped injured clients and their families recover tens of millions of dollars in compensation and has litigated hundreds of personal injury cases. Ryan handles personal injury cases from the initial investigation and insurance claim through settlement negotiations, litigation, and trial when necessary.

Ryan understands that an automobile accident or other serious injury can create problems that extend far beyond the accident itself. Medical treatment, lost income, insurance coverage, mounting bills, and uncertainty about the future can quickly become overwhelming. He believes clients deserve straightforward advice about their cases, clear communication, and an attorney who is prepared to deal with the insurance companies while the client focuses on recovering.

A substantial portion of Ryan's practice is also devoted to Social Security Disability law. He represents individuals seeking Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits at all stages of the disability process, including appeals and hearings before Administrative Law Judges. Ryan has handled more than 1,000 Social Security Disability cases and has represented claimants at hundreds of disability hearings.

That experience has given Ryan an extensive understanding of the Social Security disability process and the importance of developing the medical, vocational, and other evidence necessary to present a claimant's case. He regularly represents individuals whose physical or mental health conditions prevent them from maintaining employment and helps clients understand what can otherwise be a complicated and frustrating administrative process.

Whether representing someone injured in a serious automobile accident or an individual who can no longer work because of a disabling medical condition, Ryan approaches each case with careful preparation, practical judgment, and a focus on achieving the best result available for the client. He believes clients should understand the important decisions in their case and have confidence that their attorney is prepared to advocate for them at every stage of the process.

Ryan is a Life Member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives (NOSSCR), the Chattanooga Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association, and Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association. Warren & Griffin has also been recognized by Advocates, Counselors & Representatives for the Disabled (ACRD) as a National Top 250 Social Security Disability law firm.

Ryan has appeared on Chattanooga-area television programs to discuss personal injury law, automobile accidents, insurance issues, Social Security Disability benefits, and other legal topics. He believes educating the public about their rights is an important part of his practice, particularly for individuals who may not know where to turn after an injury or when a disability prevents them from working.

Ryan graduated from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 2006 as a University Honors Scholar and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in 2009. He was admitted to practice law in Tennessee in 2010.

Outside of his law practice, Ryan remains involved in the Chattanooga community, including service with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Chattanooga. He lives on Signal Mountain with his wife, Kacy, and their children.
