Hired Attorney 2018-2019I simply could not have made it through my divorce without the professional support and council of Mr. Ricci and the team at Whatley and Associates. I trusted them 100% and still do to this day. In the most difficult time of my life, it was comforting to know I could rely on Mr. Ricci and the amazing team there. I received Mr. Ricci's name as a recommendation from someone who retained him previously. I am forever grateful that I received and used this recommendation. I do not feel I could have had such superb representation like I had from Mr. Ricci anywhere else. I was so nervous going into the divorce process. Mr. Ricci and his qualified and component team helped guide me through the most difficult time in my life. I cannot list all the amazing thing he and his team did for me and for the welfare of my kids during the process of the divorce. Because of the difficulty of my now, ex-spouse and her low life lawyer, it took about 7 months to finalize the divorce. Even though the ruthless tactics of the opposing lawyer continued through the duration, Mr Ricci remained upright and professional the whole time, without backing down from the dirty and shallow attacks from the opposing party. I was always impressed with his demeanor and determination in representing my side. I was able to focus at work and the other parts of my life during all this because I knew I had a great lawyer who I could count on. I will forever be grateful for him for his sound representation. Because I chose this firm to represent me, I now 7 months after the divorce was finalized, can still have the ability to move on with my life in a positive direction. He just did not fight for my rights, he fought for my kids rights too. Mr. Ricci and this firm will always hold a special place in my heart for all they did. They may never know to the extent of my gratitude and just how much my life has been blessed because of them. I hope I never need to use a lawyer again in the future, but if I do, I know I do not have to look for a lawyer to represent me, I already have Mr. Ricci and his team on speed dial. 5 stars does not do justice in showing how awesome Mr. Ricci is. He deserves so many more. If you need a lawyer to represent you, look no further than Cory Ricci and Whatley and Associates, THEY ARE BY FAR, THE BEST!!!!!!

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
