Hired Attorney 2020I hired Mrs. Duke to fight an uphill battle for me to get custody of my son back. It was a long, difficult process. She is brilliant, honest and is not a timid person. She fought an incredibly complex fight for my son and I. The prices she charges are on par with most other attorneys and her results can be amazing! I now have full custody of my son and my ex wife pays me child support. Mrs. Duke has my appreciation for life. As for the train wreck who tried to bash her in an above comment... you apparently have your head stuck so far up your own "cavity" that you have to slander a great attorney because you're such a failure as a human being that the "Dream Team" couldn't have helped you.

Hired Attorney 2018Excellent lawyer! I had a horrible divorce lawyer where nothing really got resolved. She cleaned up the entire mess, and I got everything I wanted and more. I’ve recommended her to everyone I know! She’s personable and very easy to talk to. I highly recommend!

Hired Attorney 2016Hillary Duke is corrupt and will go along with falsified paternity test if the opposing party pays her off. I hired Hillary Duke to represent me in a paternity suit which I'm not the biological father of the little girl. My father was a patent holder and very wealthy. Hillary Duke pushed paperwork through the court system without my knowledge that the little girl that they knowingly falsified the paternity test on gets any inheritance that I may get. She done this trying to intercept an inheritance that my father left me. She is a corrupt crooked lawyer

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
