Brent is not only professional but he looks to relate to his clients. He’s been easy to talk to and very attentive, you can contact him at any time and feel assured that you won’t be kept waiting long and he doesn’t just say things but has purpose to the things he tells you he’s going to try and do for you and then pulls through. I was nervous having waited last minute to do things, but he made things very easy and was able to help me in ways I know others not only wouldn’t do but wouldn’t attempt to do. He helped in many different ways but even had he not been able to accomplish what i needed which he did I would still feel the same because I know he did the very best in which he was capable of. He met my expectations beyond what I thought he could do and if anyone in the area ever asked me who I’d refer to help them with their situation, he’d be the first one I mentioned. If you find yourself in any festival troubles especially, he’s definitely your guy.

Brent is such an amazing attorney he was so friendly and down to earth yet knew exactly what he was talking about. He was helpful with any questions we had even the ones we felt like we asked 500 times. You never hesitated to get back in contact with us even in time he wasn’t in the office if we had anything he was there to answer, he always made you feel welcome. I would highly recommend Brent to anyone and I personally have recommended him to several people.

Some lawyers publish comparative information regarding the services that they provide which may be subject to specific comparative communications restrictions.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
