Hired Law firm 2022My opinion is that she is a horrible untrustworthy person. I’m really laid back. My wife is not filing with me so I had a few questions to ask Susan to put my wife’s mind at ease as she is going through cancer treatment and Susan knew this. Wen we spoke it was brought to my attention that I was wasting her time, she works for me, that’s why I paid her. Susan is unreasonable and when you talk with her she just talked over you. There are two sides to every story as they say. Please don’t give her your money, find a good lawyer that you can have a grown up conversation with. In the end she gave me $300.00 back and I gave her over $2,000. Shame on you Susan Taylor for ripping good people off. God bless everyone, don’t use her !!!

Hired Law firm 2020-2022COVID-19 shut our company down for almost a whole year. My income went way, way down. Some of our employees died form COVID-19. I had to file for Bankruptcy. Attorney Taylor was, by far, the most professional lawyer I have ever hired. She gets right to the point, and keeps complicated things very brief and very simple. It was a highly stressful time for me, but she guided me through every step. Thank you, Attorney Susan G. Taylor!

Hired Law firm 2019-2022Attorney Taylor and her great staff helped me through the complex process of Bankruptcy. I was quite dumb about records, filings, and forms -- but she helped me on every step! She kept things as quick and simple as possible! A terrible and very stressful time in my life. I highly recommend Attorney Susan G. Taylor -- 5 stars!

Hired Law firm 2019-2020I became unemployed and almost lost my house. Susan helped me navigate both Chapter 7 bankruptcy and then Chapter 13 bankruptcy to eradicate all debt and get on track to catch up the arrearage on my home. After some time, the mortgage company agreed to work with me and I was able to end the Chapter 13, just as this bankruptcy firm recommended from the beginning. Susan presented all my options from the first meeting, and I was eventually able to save my house. The entire firm was so great; they really helped me through the most difficult time. I will always keep her number handy because she is a great, caring person who will really look out for your best interest. Thanks always

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
