Attorney Information
Overview
Kenneth Hines has practiced law for 18 years, with criminal defense as a consistent component of his practice throughout his career. His earlier work also included family law, business disputes, and probate matters. Since joining the Law Office of David D. White, PLLC, Kenneth’s practice focuses exclusively on criminal defense, with particular concentration on the firm’s expunction and nondisclosure work. As the firm’s expunction lead, Kenneth has secured hundreds of expunctions since 2023, clearing clients’ records across central Texas.
Earlier in his career, Kenneth served as General Counsel to the Texas Senate Jurisprudence Committee from 2010 to 2012. He has also contributed to the Supreme Court of Texas Permanent Judicial Commission for Children, Youth, and Families Legal Representation Study Workgroup. These roles give Kenneth a working understanding of how Texas criminal statutes are drafted, debated, and interpreted, which matters when a defense argument turns on legislative intent or statutory construction.
