Attorney Information
Overview
With his background as a CPA and real estate developer, and with more than 30 years’ experience practicing law, Kent Greer Vestal, Jr., is exceptionally suited to handle a variety of issues facing Blazier, Christensen, Browder & Virr, P.C.’s business and tax clients. Over the years he has successfully helped companies of various sizes navigate legal issues related to taxes, employment, real estate, business disputes, business formation and estate planning, among others.
Early in his career, Mr. Vestal spent time working in both large and small companies serving as a former Vice President of one of the largest firms on Wall Street, and later in the capacities of general counsel and chief financial officers for several small to medium-sized businesses. It was the latter that helped him find his passion for helping small business clients manage the unique legal and financial issues inherent in their day-to-day operation.
His practicing philosophy is that while obstacles to business success are inevitable, no problem is too large to overcome. He prides himself on consistently meeting the challenges that small businesses face.
Mr. Vestal attended Hendrix College and The University of Arkansas, receiving a B.S.B.A in Accounting in 1981. He received his law degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s Bowen School of Law in 1987 and is licensed to practice in three states: Arkansas, New York and Texas. He has worked as remote counsel to the Firm for several years and now resides in Austin to take on a more central role.
A 25-year member of the Arkansas Bar Association, Mr. Vestal is also a member of the New York State Bar Association, AICPA and the Texas Bar Association.
During his spare time, Mr. Vestal enjoys spending time with family, including his three sons, who are active in the youth sports of baseball and basketball, and also enjoy fishing and sharing hobbies with their dad. He serves as a community volunteer on the White Oak Bayou Wetlands Management Steering Committee.

Hired Attorney 2021-2022Kent Vestal is the best lawyer I have ever known. He's the kind of lawyer that REALLY has your back and I sincerely believe he cares about his clients. Excellent problem solver, quick on his feet, EXTREMELY knowledgeable, ability to assist in very tough negotiations, accessible, responsive, respectful of your time, and really tows the line for his clients. I fired two lawyers before I got to Kent. YUP, I did that. I will never look for another lawyer as long as Kent is still practicing. He really is all that and more
