Attorney Information
Overview
Tony Ciccone leads Bollier Ciccone Stinson LLP’s civil law practice group, including the firm’s construction, real estate, and business law sections.
Tony has earned his stellar reputation for serving as a trusted advisor, effective and practical advocate, and formidable litigator. He is valued by clients and colleagues alike for his unflappable and sensible approach to problem-solving and dispute resolution and for pursuing favorable outcomes that reflect the goals of those he serves. A commercial litigator and business strategist at the core, Tony has resolved many disputes and other legal matters involving all areas of construction, real estate, and business law. Tony has also handled numerous transactional matters ranging from company buy-outs to residential real estate purchases and sales.
Among Tony's clients are individuals and entities with a problem to solve – including property owners, developers, investors, landlords, contractors, subcontractors, and architectural and engineering firms. His experience is widespread and ranges from dispute resolution and litigation of the purchase and sale of residential and commercial real estate; to construction claims, including payment disputes, breach of contract, design controversies, change orders and extras, project delays, lien and bonds, and all other related claims. Tony also has extensive business and real estate experience involving partnership disputes, title and easement matters, lot line and adjustment, and restrictive covenants, including title and HOA restrictions.
With client matters that range from thousands to millions of dollars in value, Tony is all about realizing what each client needs to achieve their desired objective. He delivers a seemingly innate ability to predict how a negotiation or dispute will unfold and analyze his client's paths to resolution given their specific scenario and within the framework of the law. He knows all too well that formal litigation can present obstacles to progress, and he seeks out opportunities to leverage formal and informal negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and other conciliatory opportunities for dispute resolution. However, in the event his client chooses to go through litigation and trial, Tony delivers the veritable advocacy prowess required to succeed before judges and juries throughout the State of Texas.
Appreciated for being down-to-earth and approachable, Tony tells his client's story in the most persuasive way imaginable. Trustworthy and believable, Tony delivers an agile mindset that allows him to think around the corner when assessing the situation and trying to find a resolution.
Board Certified in Construction Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and AV Preeminentrated by Martindale-Hubbell, Tony is a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, an honor extended to only the top one-third of one percent of Texas attorneys annually.
