Pizana and Niedzwiedz has owned me $595 for 18 months and is refusing to pay for services I rendered for their firm. They do not pay their bills. Do not do work with this firm. Rafael has told me time and time again he will pay me. He is full of excuses and void of honesty.

I would love to give my honest review this attorney is not one I would recommend. You will never speak or deal with her only her assistant. They will take your hard earned money and never do anything for your case. Please do your research before hiring an attorney many of them think they have the power but sooner or later word of mouth gets around.

    Consulted Law firm 2021
I don’t leave reviews but the way I was treated by Priscilla was incredibly unprofessional and rude. I had a consultation with her and at the end she told me to schedule another one for free with her. I did. My appointment was for the following Tuesday at 4:30. At 4:50 the paralegal or front person (also incredibly rude) tells me that Priscilla will not take my case. She refused to give me a reason and said she didn’t know. She hung up on me and I called back. She told me that the real reason was because of time constraints (so she lied in saying that she didn’t know). She could have told me this before the appointment. Before it was 20 minutes past the time. This is absolutely insane and I would NOT recommend her at all. The paralegal was upset that I was leaving a bad review. Hope this saves someone from their indecency.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
