Verified ClientHired Law firm 2018-2019The staff at Montgomery Law were very knowledgable about my circumstances and handled my situation in a very professional matter. I am beyond pleased with the results. I would recommend Sadat and his team to anyone having to deal with a personal injury case.

Hired Law firm 2023-2025I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with my experience at this law firm. In my dealings with them, I found the majority of the staff to be highly unprofessional. While I won’t say all, most displayed a lack of integrity and accountability—qualities that should be fundamental in a legal practice. I was repeatedly misled regarding the retrieval of my medical bills. Despite providing them with the necessary documentation in advance, they claimed they never received it. To verify, I personally visited both the hospital and my doctor’s office, only to confirm that the law firm had, in fact, received my records four to six months prior to my inquiry. The hospitals and doctors’ offices even had receipts proving they had sent the information to this firm. Based on my experience, I would strongly discourage anyone from seeking legal services from this firm. I have also come across numerous negative reviews, which leads me to believe that the positive reviews on their website may be fabricated, written by friends, or even paid for. I’m very detail oriented and I keep all receipts of everything and I record every conversation so I have all their unprofessionalism incidents recorded even though I’m calling me back and apologizing, but this last episode was much further and beyond with any client should have to deal with.

Hired Law firm 2023-2024The process was smooth and clear after our case was transferred to someone else. My first lawyer did not explain anything (this was my first time dealing with something like this) or give me updates, then proceed to talk bad about me to my boyfriend while I was standing next to him. But the new person who took over was clear, persistent, and make this process a lot easier! I appreciate them for doing all they could during closing as well.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
