Bob’s career spans roles at multinational law firms, serving as chief intellectual property counsel for a technology startup that achieved a market capitalization of over a billion dollars, and ultimately establishing Johnston IP Law. His clients come from a diverse range of industries, including medical devices, oil and gas, software, hospitality, retail, aircraft, energy, and more.
He holds degrees in engineering, law, and business and has served as Chair of the Dallas Bar Association’s Intellectual Property Section. Outside of his practice, Bob is an avid runner and passionate music enthusiast.
