Overview
Constance Mutong is a litigator focused primarily on personal injury cases. She also has a history of diverse experience in other fields including debt collection and mass torts.
Constance received a BA in Psychology from the University of North Texas, with a minor in Substance Abuse and Addictions. Constance completed her Juris Doctor degree at Appalachian School of Law with concentrations in litigation and natural resources law in May of 2019. As a student she became a life-long member of Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honor Society. From August 2018 to August 2023, she served as a general counsel member of the organization’s executive board. While in law school she interned at the Smyth County Circuit Court in Marion, Virginia with the honorable Judge Deanis Simmons. As part of her legal studies, she spent time studying International Environmental Law and Forced Migration in Sydney, Australia. Additionally, she interned at a law firm in Fiji where she assisted with business registration, admiralty disputes, and performed research concerning domestic violence in various regions of the country.
When she is not advocating for her clients, Constance enjoys spending time with her American Pitbull Terrier, “King,” volunteering with the Dallas Bar Association’s Legal Line program, and networking with local bar associations such as the JL Turner Legal Association, the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, and the State Bar of Texas African American Lawyers Section.
