I reached out to Snellings Law after being rear-ended by a drunk driver, suffering injuries that left me unable to work. Given my financial situation, I was relying on their help to navigate my personal injury case and get back on my feet. Unfortunately, their lack of professionalism and empathy left me deeply disappointed. From the start, communication was good. Then, they promised to call me back--particularly after I requested that they pursue my Personal Injury Protection (PIP) for lost wages, which was crucial for me to pay my bills. However, days passed without any action or updates. I had to write and follow up myself to push them to make the request. Their failure to act promptly was frustrating, especially since I was not working and desperately needed the PIP funds. When I finally got in touch with Hannah, my assigned attorney, she was completely unsympathetic to my situation. Despite knowing that I was without an income, she seemed to go out of her way to discourage me from pursuing the PIP, falsely claiming that it was "difficult to get." I knew this wasn't true, but I felt like she was trying to brush off my request, which was disheartening given my financial struggles. After waiting for days, she reluctantly made the PIP request--only for it to go through without any issue, just as I had expected. This seemed to anger her rather than lead to any acknowledgment that my request was valid. It is my opinion that her approach to my case was lazy, and she lacked any concern for the urgency of my situation. I never complained. Even when she asked me to call her and when I did, she threatened to drop my case. What was also upsetting was the total lack of empathy from the owner when I finally brought my problems to his attention after she quickly dropped my case. He said he reviewed our communications. If he was aware that one of his attorneys told a client that it was difficult to request PIP from his own Insurance company, he certainly didn't have any issue with it. I was dealing with serious injuries, financial strain, and an uncertain future. He responded by blaming me! Writing this to me. "When reviewing the file and speaking with the team, it is clear that you do not trust how we handle your claim." He faulted me for asking her to email me when she requested a callback. I had just been threatened the last time I returned her call. Under his leadership, the firm had just treated my case as an afterthought. It felt like they couldn't be bothered to advocate for me or understand the gravity of what I was going through. They made me feel like I was an inconvenience, not a client. I was dropped as a client for simply pushing for the help I was entitled to. Instead of helping me get through one of the hardest times of my life, Snellings Law left me feeling abandoned and alone. They referred me to a different Law firm and never sent me my files until I requested them more than a year later. I was so traumatized by dealing with Snellings Injury Law, that I was unable to proceed with my case. I had a total lack of trust in the referral. For anyone considering using them for a personal injury case, I'd advise you to look elsewhere if you need PIP representation or do it yourself. I am being honest and sincere when I leave this negative review, so I would be remiss if I do not also say the positives that I experienced. Their staff was great. The Dr's that they connected me with were top notch. I chose this firm after careful research and I saw nothing but positive reviews. This was far from what I expected to happen and it still amazes me that it seems to have happened because I asked them to pursue my PIP coverage. The lack of work ethic I experienced from Hannah and her complete lack of empathy for my situation made a terrible situation even worse.
