My son signed an agreement for this law firm to represent him in his case against a company that would not fire him officially, nor would they let him come back to work after injuring his foot on the job. Company never filed any claims leaving my son in a situation where he couldn't work but could not get any compensation. Manuel Gonzales law firm did nothing. Absolutely nothing. Not even answer phone calls.

I apologize for your son’s experience. I have submitted a request for more information to the email associated with this review. Without more information, I am unable to respond. Unfortunately, we do not take every case that comes to my office. The decision to accept or reject a potential client depends on a variety of factors. The factual pattern you described above is not common in my close to 20 years of experience. If a company has workers compensation insurance coverage, a claim can be made directly with the insurance company without the employer involvement. An employer coverage can be located here https://www.tdi.texas.gov/wc/employer/coverage.html If the company does not have coverage, then you can explore your common law remedies against the employer.
