Ms. Gilbert's passion for law ignited during her undergraduate years at Texas State University where she pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Here, she served on the Student Judicial Hearing Board and was a member of the San Marcos, TX chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Tulane University Law School where her comment was selected for publication in The Sports Lawyers Journal, Vol. 29 (April 2022). Ms. Gilbert enjoys being on the water and nature walks when she is not practicing law.
