Attorney Information
Overview
My practice focuses on estate planning and litigating complex trust, estate and guardianship disputes. With over 20 years of civil trial and appellate experience, I have represented clients in all stages of litigation from pre-trial, trial, mediation and appeals to the Courts of Appeal and Supreme Court. I have represented clients in over 70 appeals in both the Texas and Federal Courts of Appeal and am Board Certified in Civil Appellate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. My experience as a litigator and appellate attorney permits to provide my clients with a high level of analysis in all facets of a dispute and find a path to victory.
However, my true strength as an attorney arises from my client-centered approach. I understand and accept that my clients come to me with both legal and personal disputes which arise after the death or incapacity of a close family member. As your attorney, my job is to help my clients navigate these disputes and move on to a place in their lives where they can focus on what really matters - their families and loved ones.

Hired Attorney 2025-2026Deceptive, malicious intent, malice, being vindictive, spiteful and manipulative describes my sister (Christina Renee Edwards) that went to U of H law school and her husband (Michael James Edwards II) that's an attorney. While on a week vacation which turned into 3 weeks, they had Melinda the decedent's neighbor to remove assets from decedent's home with the key that she kept when my little brother followed the ambulance. 7/23/25, Once Christina and Michael landed in Texas they went to remove more assets from the decedent's home. I was seeking a moral, equal understanding, honest, ethical, professional, great character, fighter for the people, no nonsense, by the book attorney. I truly believed that Krohn would have helped my family and I fight for what's right. 9/2/25 consultation included decedent's wife, one daughter and 2 sons $425/hr. 9/23/25 retained/agreed on course of action. I explained to Mr. Krohn why I created Conversation With Communication to break generational curses, trauma and cycles. I don't drink, smoke, club nor party. I am not materialistic. I am just an individual fighting for the people and to do right by the people which was reiterated during the 12/18/25 meeting concerning lack of communication/status updates/agreed upon next course of action. 3/2/26 Phone meeting with the decedent's wife concerning no communication, status updates nor action taken from beginning discussions on Texas law that no one until appointed executor of estate should be removing or having the neighbor to remove any property from the decedent's estate also stated by Christina's second attorney. I did not attend the phone meeting due to a conflict of scheduling and didn't want to hear any more story time or excuses on why what was stolen from the estate since his passing on 7/19/25 hasn't been returned. My experience thus far has not been a great experience and what I expected from a lawyer for the people and still nothing has been done as of 4/14/26. I understand that it's not a $10 million dollar estate or even a $1 million dollar estate as stated by Krohn. Just seeking justice and fairness for the entire family. My review on Avvo was removed for accusations of criminal activity. My review on Google was also removed. As of today, 6/25/26, nothing that was agreed upon has been done. Still no communication. GREAT DAY WITH GOD'S LOVE

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
