Overview
Byron practices family, criminal, personal injury, probate, and general civil law. Byron graduated South Texas College of Law in 2003, and received his Masters degree from Webster University in St. Louis, and his Bachelor of Science from the University of the State of New York.
Law, however, was not his first career. Byron also served in the United States Navy. His military service included assignments at the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Training Unit, Charleston, SC, as a Staff Instructor, Naval Nuclear Power School, Orlando, Florida and Officer Candidate School, Pensacola, Florida, and The Groton, CT, shipyard on a new construction Trident Class Submarine. He graduated in the top of his class, (Distinguished Naval Graduate) from the Pensacola Officer Candidate School, and was first in his class at the Nuclear Field (A) School.
Today, he has settled back in the Houston area, with a case load that covers the entire state of Texas. Additionally, he teaches a variety of legal subjects at Houston Community College in its paralegal studies department.
Byron's interests include motorcycle riding, as well as an assortment of other outdoor activities, and he is also active in a number of Houston social and community groups.
Byron's diverse backgrounds make him particularly sensitive to the challenges facing most individuals when first encountering the legal system. Additionally, a devastating auto accident, that left him wheelchair-bound for many months in 1995, gives him a unique understanding of the adversity that clients deal with when they are injured through no fault of their own.
