Hired Law firm 2018-2019The Clown Law Firm is what I call them, other lawyers too. I hired this clown law firm to help me after being hit by a drunk driver. They would have gotten money and left me with nothing had I not researched my rights. First and foremost, your medical bills can be disputed and lowered extensively. I requested this service to be done by my lawyer and they said it was not possible. I had to push the issue in order for action to be taken. I was pushed around as a result of it and I had to warn the clown 🤡 that if the bullying did not stop, I would contact the BAR. Lawyers were switched on me in the midst of my case as well. I hired them yet they tried to make decisions. At one point I was told to sign the papers and stop stalling. After requesting to be released so that I could require another attorney, the lack of respect became worse. Insensitive, money hungry, and lazy. I would most definitely read and review any lawyer before hiring them to fight for you and stay away from the clown law firm!!

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
