    Hired Law firm 2024-2025
I am compelled to write this review in the hopes that potential clients are swayed from using Nathan Cace. I hired Mr. Cace for an eviction suit and had to pay a flat rate in full, in advance. Initially communication was okay and the suit was allegedly filed and in motion; as Mr. Cace said in an email, “Full Speed Ahead”. Shortly after he said the petition was filed and an eviction notice served, he went MIA and stopped responding to all calls, texts and emails. To add insult to injury, I learned that nothing had been filed as he said. After exhausting all regional precincts and courts I was left with nothing filed, nothing served, not even a case number. I was also left with a sizeable monetary loss and lost several key months I had been counting on to evict the present squatters and get the property on the market; this further contributed to a still climbing financial loss. Under NO circumstances would I recommend hiring Nathan Cace for your legal matters. You will lose your money and valuable time. DO NOT TRUST HIS WORD, he delivered any number of empty promises, lied outright and then withdrew communication at the most critical time.

Some lawyers publish comparative information regarding the services that they provide which may be subject to specific comparative communications restrictions.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
