John T. Ferjak - San Antonio, TX

John T. Ferjak is an experienced trial attorney dedicated to the zealous representation of his clients. Mr. Ferjak understands first hand the hardships, pain and suffering associated with being seriously injured. In 1978 he was injured when the propeller of a speedboat struck his legs causing injuries, which required 6 months of hospitalization, numerous reconstructive surgeries, and extensive physical rehabilitation. Being the son of an electrician, the accident ended his hopes of following in his father's footsteps. After personally experiencing the legal process, John elected to pursue a career in law representing plaintiffs with personal injuries.

John Ferjak received his Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science in 1988, Cum Laude, from Southern Connecticut State University. In addition to his full-time studies, John worked full-time as a residential youth care worker for physically and emotionally abused teenagers and completed a 9-month internship with the Assistant States Attorney's Office in New Haven, Connecticut. He then went on to Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing Michigan which he graduated from in 1991. While there John was on the intra-school moot trial team and worked part-time as a law assistant. After graduation, John went directly into private practice successfully trying his first case 6 weeks after being sworn in. While always striving to secure fair and just settlements for his clients, he has successfully tried numerous cases to verdict. John Ferjak has extensive experience practicing in the outlaying collar counties and downstate. He grew up in the southwest suburb of Oak Lawn, and now lives in Aurora. In his spare time he enjoys camping, fishing, woodworking and is an avid NASCAR fan.
