Mr. Burgess is a lifelong resident of Texarkana, Texas where he returned after graduating from law school in 1992. He became licensed to practice in Texas in 1992, Arkansas in 1993 and Oklahoma in 2017. He is licensed to practice in all Federal Courts in Texas and Arkansas. His specialty is litigation, handling personal injury cases, complex commercial litigation and insurance coverage and insurance claims litigation. He is Board Certified in the areas of Civil Trial and Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and the Texas Bar College.
