Brooke Vernier Barry - The Woodlands, TX

Brooke DeAnn Barry is a family law attorney licensed in both Texas and Michigan. She brings a unique perspective to her practice through a diverse professional background that combines legal advocacy with more than two decades of healthcare experience as a licensed occupational therapist.

Brooke earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2009. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy, cum laude, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Her educational background in psychology and healthcare provides valuable insight into the emotional and practical challenges families often face during legal disputes.

Since entering the legal profession, Brooke has focused her practice on family law matters involving divorce, child custody, child support, property division, and related issues. Prior to becoming an attorney, Brooke spent more than twenty years providing occupational therapy services to geriatric and medically complex patients in home health and rehabilitation settings. This experience strengthened her ability to listen compassionately, evaluate difficult situations, and guide individuals through significant life transitions—skills that continue to benefit her family law clients today.

Brooke has been married to her husband, Tim, for more than 36 years. Outside the office, Brooke enjoys spending time with her family, camping in her retro camper, fishing and rock hunting on the shores of Lake Michigan.
