Hired Law firm 2018-2021Initial impressions were favorable - I asked for a partner and was assigned to a young hotshot associate. After three years and tens of thousands of dollars in legal fees, she made partner, but I am stuck with a non-modifiable alimony agreement where my ex gets 40% of my net salary until I retire. I can no longer afford to live in my children's school district, and my custody agreement stipulates that if I move, I lose custody to my ex. My attorney's advice: "talk to a bankruptcy lawyer". I am now looking for a new attorney.
