Overview

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Horne was employed as a senior executive and General Counsel of PSINet, Inc., where she built and managed an international legal team of 20+ lawyers and oversaw all legal matters involving PSINet, with an emphasis on transactional matters, including domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, securities transactions, debt and equity financings and general corporate matters. While at PSINet, Ms. Horne was recognized by the Fairfax County Commission for Women for her contributions to Fairfax County’s technology industry.

Before moving to Virginia, Ms. Horne practiced corporate and securities law as a partner in the New York City office of Nixon, Hargrave, Devans & Doyle (now Nixon Peabody).

She is a past member of the Board of Directors of Loudoun Interfaith Relief and has volunteered on community projects involving the arts.

Ms. Horne focuses her current practice on assisting clients with a wide range of corporate and business needs, employment contracts and employment related issues and land use.

Ms. Horne received her B.S. in Psychology and minor in secondary education, cum laude, from St. Lawrence University and her JD from Albany Law School, Union University. She is a member of the Virginia State Bar, the Loudoun County Bar Association and the New York State Bar.
