Jennifer Coombs - Seattle, WA

Jennifer Coombs is a well-established Family Law Attorney at Envision Family Law and is a dedicated advocate for her clients. Jennifer has over 25 years of experience in family law, juvenile dependency matters, and civil litigation. Jennifer is well known for her knowledge and skill in matters involving parenting plans and non-parental custody issues.

Prior to joining Envision Family Law, Jennifer was an established civil litigation attorney managing family law and dependency cases. She represented parents and children as a court-appointed guardian ad litem and assisted them from the initial filing of dependency petition by DSHS through reunification of the family, termination of parental rights, or other long-term planning. Jennifer also worked as a supervising attorney for a local area family law firm where she mentored and supervised a team of family law attorneys and participated in law firm leadership, before deciding to join Envision Family Law and shift her focus back to direct client representation.

Jennifer enjoys practicing family law because she found that clients like talking to her, and she is a good listener who enjoys helping others resolve problems. She is good at thinking outside the box and coming up with solutions to problems or issues. Jennifer is compassionate, empathetic, and kind, which are good skills to help people who are going through tough family situations.

Jennifer received her Juris Doctor from Willamette University College of Law in 1996, where she received a certificate in Dispute Resolution. Prior to law school, Jennifer attended Washington State University where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science/Pre-Law.

When away from the office, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family, traveling to their favorite spots in Hawaii and Florida, managing her growing zoo of animals at home, and exploring the new locations!
