Hired Attorney 2020-2021Retaining the services of Morgan Lake was one of the biggest mistakes I have ever made. He took my case without having the knowledge and skillset necessary to properly represent me. He was in over his head and failed to admit it, which cost me greatly. He also billed me hourly for a case that should have been taken on a contingency basis. He did so because he lacks the skill and confidence to tackle a case of this nature. He was only worried about seeing that he made money. His lack of knowledge of the law and his outright neglect of important deadlines cost me a vehicle and multiple 5 figures. I ended up firing him and hiring a skilled attorney, but he had already caused irreparable damage to my case. Although the case was ultimately settled in my favor, I was not made whole due to his mistakes and neglect.
