Steve Karimi is a Seattle-based criminal defense attorney with more than 27 years of experience representing clients throughout Washington State. As a former prosecutor with the King County Prosecutor’s Office, he brings a deep understanding of how criminal cases are built—and how to effectively challenge them.
Steve earned his Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University School of Law, where he received the Darling Foundation Scholarship and developed a strong foundation in trial advocacy. He also holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Washington.
After returning to Seattle, Steve worked as a prosecutor, handling a wide range of criminal cases in both district and superior courts. This experience provides him with valuable insight into the strategies used by the prosecution, which he now uses to build strong and effective defense strategies for his clients.
Today, Steve Karimi represents individuals facing serious criminal charges, including DUI, domestic violence, drug offenses, assault, theft, and other criminal matters. He is known for his thorough preparation, strategic approach, and commitment to protecting his clients’ rights, reputation, and future.
Steve is a member of the Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (WACDL) and is admitted to practice in federal court. He has also been recognized as a “Rising Star” in criminal defense.
