Hired Law firm 2023-2025My attorneys were late, unprepared, and snarky. They did not advocate for me and refused to outline the process; I believe it was because then I would have expectations for them. I was left in the dark and charged for emails that never answered my very direct questions. I settled for next to nothing with the condition that the process was expedited by my ex. He was not the problem; they were, even though they blamed him. The mediation was resolved in June, they didn't even write up the papers until August. You will be overcharged and the process will drug out well beyond what is necessary so that they can continue to charge you. Why didn't I leave? It was suggested that it would be even more costly starting over with a new attorney. Dealing with them made me cry more than the actual divorce. Be very careful who you choose to represent you. They gave me zero support or answers, but they gave me plenty of bills.
