Overview
Delifus Jones practices civil litigation as an associate attorney, representing individuals, families, and businesses. Originally from New York, Delifus served in the U.S. Army before relocating to the Pacific Northwest. Delifus uses the mission-driven focus, adaptability, and strategic decision-making he developed in the U.S. Army to advocate for his clients
Before joining the firm as an associate, Delifus gained firsthand experience with the team as a legal intern at Smith Alling P.S. His professional background also includes internships with TacomaProbono and the Social Security Administration, providing him with a diverse perspective on both private practice and public service.
While at Seattle University School of Law, Delifus was also an active member of the Veterans Law Society and the Black Law Students Association, and received several honors, including the Louis J. Muscek Endowed Scholarship, the Law Community Service Scholarship, and the Law Access Scholarship. A dedicated advocate for his community, Delifus also completed the law school’s pro bono pledge by volunteering over 50 hours of service.
Outside of the office, Delifus prioritizes spending quality time with his family. He is also an athlete who enjoys running, playing basketball, and working out, and he finds balance through reading and playing chess.
