Verified ClientHired Attorney 2024-2025Holly Slota was an immense help to me during my recent divorce. I couldn't have asked for a more supportive, skillful lawyer. She brought a high level of competence and expertise to my case, including clear and firm communication with the opposing lawyer and exceptional attention to detail. Every step of the way, she was in my corner fiercely advocating for me and patiently explaining different aspects of the divorce process to me. She was also unfailingly kind, which isn't a quality that you'll find in every lawyer as skilled as her. She made what can be an incredibly confusing and overwhelming process into something far more manageable. I have already recommended her to one friend who is starting the divorce process, and I will continue to share her name with any other friends and family who are in similar situations. Anyone would be lucky to have her as a lawyer; I certainly was.

Verified ClientHired Attorney 2020-2024The first attorney I went to said there was nothing they could do. When I went to meet in person with Attorney Slota, she had prepared and put in front of me a legal standard that she believed my situation fit. She asked me the key questions, while listening carefully, in addition to being extremely kind, thoughtful, as well as strong and clear. She provided an assessment of the situation, and did not hold back on the challenges, but provided the only hope I had for a former foster child, who without intervention was deteriorating toward a lifetime of poverty, prison or death at the hands of a system that refuses to intervene in long term life devastating neglect. While a pandemic began, Attorney Slota became my life line, and that of a child who didn't even know her. Attorney Slota protected me, while navigating a system that shut down for everyone, but who shouldn't and couldn't shut down for an at risk child, and their siblings. In preparation, in trial, in advice, guidance and long term vision, I have not experienced anyone more dedicated, knowledgeable and skilled. As a person who worked in a related system all of my career, I had background experience, awareness, and understandings that many lay people, or foster parents didn't. Yet when you become the focus of unfathomable absurb attacks to attempt to deter you, you want the best. Attorney Holly Slota is just that, the Best. When those you love are in danger and you can't help them, you want the best, honest, most intelligent, resourceful, ethical, determined lawyer, who knows her way around the court, when to intervene and experienced at when not to. If your case is not for the faint of heart, consider Attorney Slota. She was not only successful, but she was kind, and continues to provide guidance. She made sense of a crazy system that otherwise would have failed yet another child.
