Verified ClientHired Law firm 2020-2022I worked with Carlton in 2007 to write a pre-nuptial agreement. Unfortunately, I ended up having to utilize that prenup in my recent divorce. The prenup was ironclad and completely protected my hard-earned assets from the divorce as well as my personal belongings. I highly recommend spending the money for a prenup or even a postnuptial agreement. The divorce was odd as it was a pandemic-based divorce so not a lot of face-to-face interaction with attorney's or judges, but Colin and Carlton helped me navigate this. It was frustrating as a process, but they were not only excellent at representing me but acted also as a therapist when the frustration boiled over and I needed to talk out some issues. Trust is something you have to have with an attorney and from the start of this I explained what I wanted and where I wanted to be and trusted in them to have my best interest. While the ex went thru three (3) attorney’s, Colin and Clayton remained steadfast in their support for me and represented me admirably with respect, professionalism and when needed were firm with both myself and opposing attorneys. Frequently I would just trust that Colin or Clayton could represent me without me being present (which sometimes speeds things up in legal speak) and I never felt at risk. I have recommended the services of both Colin and Carlton to friends for mediation, prenups, and divorce assistance and I will continue to do so.
