PERSONAL LIFE
Amanda’s journey to becoming a leading family law attorney is a testament to her dedication and resilience. As a single mother of two, Amanda put herself through law school while continuing her full-time career as a senior paralegal at DM Cantor’s Family Law Practice. Amanda was a senior family law paralegal for over a decade before being admitted to the Bar, and she worked in that role throughout her undergraduate and law school careers. In law school, Amanda was a law clerk for the United States Attorney’s Office, a moot court member, and a competitor in various trial and negotiation competitions. This unique background provides her with an invaluable perspective, understanding of the legal work from the ground up, and the daily challenges many of her clients face. Outside of her practice, Amanda enjoys watching professional sports and making memories with her children. She is a Chicago sports fan (Go Bears!) and enjoys NFL football, golfing, traveling, and taking weekend trips to California with her kids.
