Hired Law firm 2019-2020I always heard horror stories from friends who applied for SSDI, all being denied & having to appeal with a hearing, some cases taking years. When I applied in Sept 2019, I prepared for a long wait, waiting for a denial & preparing for a hearing. Then came CV-19 & I was sure Iād be waiting even longer. To my surprise, the case was a complete success in 8 months!! Dustin Jones was my case manager. He answered every question I had, usually quite quickly by email. I know every case is different, but I highly recommend Slepian Smith & his team to take a lot of the stress out of this procedure.

Hired Law firm 2019-2020I was handling my case on my own for over 2 years and was denied the first 2 phases. I then did research of firms and had it narrowed down to 2 and what made me finally decide which to pick for a face to face appointment was the professionalism, knowledge and sincerity of all whom I spoke with during those calls with info as well as taking the time to answer any questions I had. After meeting, my case was accepted, and it was very nice that I actually met with the attorney that day. From that point on, the amount of stress dealing with all that was involved was gone, and what a relief it was! My case was won within 6 months and I was always kept in touch with any updates and they really coached me well on helping me get letters from doctors when possible, and anything else which was helpful. Again It was such a relief that anyone I spoke with besides the attorney was so knowledgeable about my case and if I ever left a message they responded in a very timely manner. Tye Smith was my Attorney for the court hearing and his pretrial conference meeting was absolutely essential, and I believe without this knowledge and having Slepian,Smith as my attorneys from the time they took over my case, that I may have been denied again.
