This “firm” is a fraud. They provide no service, do not respond to messages or questions, despite claims to “reach out if you have questions.” 12 hours before my hearing and not one contact with anyone. They charged my credit card without my knowledge and without providing any contract or receipt. Stay away from this fraud.

Senseless and deleterious representation that I hope the state bar does a thorough investigation. Is this what a stalked woman should have done to ..inducement in the form of guarantees of safety that never come to fruition. The only  zealousness you will feel during their representation is billing and creatively clueless motions,  more inducements to transfer a security interest of my home with promises that were too good to be true. One being from Freddy Meddil that the opposing party would ultimately reimburse me. I think on its face when looking at all the pleadings and work product the above is a summary of the representation by Lance Claery.  They are all liars at that firm. The only work they will do is working you.

LegalMatch MUST remove this law firm from the site. WRONG LEGAL ADVISE! regarding Respondent residing in Germany. THIRSTY FOR YOUR MONEY AND ZERO YOUR CASE! They ask for $2600 retainer to make you believe they are low. They Falsified a statement for $1000 for a day relationship. Fancy space and you pay the rent and bad team. Attorney Frederick M Medill, managing attorney, gave me a free consultation on Thursday, 9/15/19. He advised me that my friend in Germany can serve my husband with a petition... WRONG! He knows how to seduce you into hiring the firm while attorney ELI is pushing him to make me sign a retainer. On Monday at 4PM I asked him at once to stop any work and issue a refund. I knew he didn’t work on the file. He tried to seduce me again but I was firm. I then received a statement for $1000 he falsified.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
