Megan Rozell helped me with a pro-longed domestic violence case. She was responsive to my questions and concerns and kept me informed throughout the process. I am grateful for her patience, empathy, and expertise.

Prince Law Group was great at helping me in my divorce! Every one at the firm was very responsive, respectful, and looked out for my best. Erica Hochman did amazing in dealing with the divorce and everything that came along with it. I worked with a few of the lawyers in the firm, and they are all great at what they do. I would definitely recommend.

I had a phone consult with Wendy at Prince Law in November 2021. After explaining my situation and my desire to file for divorce, Prince Law took me on as a client and I was grateful to have them in my corner. My case took one year to settle and at times it was very difficult during settlement negotiations. My lawyer was Alexandra Duffy "Xandy"... Xandy worked extremely hard on my behalf all the way up to my trial date which never happened because we finally settled about a week prior. Thanks to her experience and due diligence I received a very fair settlement which will allow me to start my life again at 65 yrs old. My former wife's attorney came in on the attack and it wasn't long before he was set back on his heels looking to cut a better deal. The more information you have to assist your attorney the easier things will go, I tried to do as much leg work for Xandy as I could and I'm sure it saved me a few bucks in the long run. Billing was fair but nevertheless, Divorce is not cheap for either side. Prince handled my escrow account for a portion of my settlement until all of the agreed upon terms of the divorce were met. My settlement funds were wired to my bank account very expeditiously. My phone calls and emails were responded to always within an hour or two. Our hearing with the Special Master was done over Zoom and it was very easy and relaxed. I'm thrilled this is behind me and I'm very happy I had Prince Law and Xandy in my corner. I highly recommend Prince Law if you are looking for divorce counsel.

BEWARE OF THE UNETHICAL PRACTICES OF THIS FIRM. My case was postponed for over 9 months. I was never notified back in September 2021 that my attorney left the firm. Prince Law contacted me only two weeks before my scheduled hearing in January still never mentioning that my attorney left the firm. I checked their website and learned on my own. When I inquired, they admitted it and tried extending me something unusual called an "evergreen" credit for $1000. (Maybe a bribe so that I would not seek other outside counsel or to cover for their lack of courtesy). I fired them and asked them to return the balance of my retainer. Apparently they decided without my authority to siphon half my retainer between 1/12 and 1/18 so now I have to fight to get the remainder of my retainer returned. Go elsewhere unleSs you want to worry about your money disappearing

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

Comfort Level
- Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?

Credentials
- How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?

Cost
- How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?

City
- Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
