I have been working with Lauren Kohl and her staff, both personally and professionally for over twenty years. That in itself is a testament to her professionalism, the tenure and loyalty of her staff, and the breadth of their knowledge and skill. No stone is left unturned. We decided to sell our house “For Sale by Owner,” which is certainly more challenging than having a realtor, but I felt confident having Lauren Kohl represent us from contract to closing. She was extremely timely and responsive to emails and calls. Since it was For Sale by Owner, I had to rely on her involvement more than a typical transaction involving a selling agent, but Lauren was never bothered by extra questions. Lauren not only had the expertise and was truly professional as a lawyer, she also has a proven track record with tremendous experience and success in real estate. So she has practical working knowledge of the entire system. Beyond Lauren, the office itself was extremely supportive and helpful. It was refreshing to work with Gibson Kohl and Wolff staff because they were efficient, unlike another firm where I encountered delays and bureaucracy. We use Gibson, Kohl, and Wolff to purchase a condo directly from the sellers (no real estate agents). They were superb. They gave us great advice, did everything electronically (as we preferred), were prompt in answering our questions by e-mail, etc. We were extremely happy with the service.

I am a realtor and have worked with MANY different law firms/title companies over the term of my career, successfully closing 300+ transactions in the last few years alone. I have worked with this company once and will not work with them ever again. Their closer informed me via email that a property that was set to close, had indeed closed, on the date it was supposed to. Then an hour and a half later, after I already informed my seller, closing it out from pending to sold, she then tells me it has not closed, in fact. Very unprofessional, not up to par communications wise, incorrect assessment and opinion and I would never recommend this company to anyone.
