This attorney is amazing with all of his knowledge of ALL the corrupt judges in south Georgia. He even knows the prices of judges like judge Cross in Tift county. Amazing attorney in an amazing state.

I had an attorney who convinced me she was Well-versed on military law. I quickly found out that was not the case. I contacted Mr. Hicks and with his expertise and military law he was able to set things straight. Without him, I would have not been able to get my full benefits that I deserved after 35 years of marriage. I highly recommend Mr. Hicks and his firm if you Are going through a military divorce. Mr. Hicks and his staff are very professional and quick to respond to email and phone calls!

Crook, snake, rude, racist and many more words that fit this person, none of them are good. Why this corrupt lawyer still has a license, I don't know. Randell needs to slither back under the rock he came out of!

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
