Attorney Information
Overview
Kasia M. Naugle is a Senior Partner at Taege Law Offices, where she brings over a decade of litigation experience to the firm’s high-conflict, high-stakes family law matters. Known for her unflinching courtroom presence and decisive advocacy style, Kasia is the attorney you want when the path forward requires grit, precision, and a relentless pursuit of results.
Kasia’s reputation is built on her consistency, her clarity, and her command. She does not waste words, she makes them count. Her approach to litigation is direct and impactful, with a courtroom demeanor that is confident, sharp, and impossible to ignore. Judges listen. Opposing counsel recalibrate. Clients feel like they have someone in their corner who is not only fighting for them, but doing so with strategy, strength, and intention.
Her legal experience is rooted in real trial work. Kasia has tried both jury and bench trials, and she has been in the courtroom nearly every day for years. She has deep expertise in evidentiary rules, procedural execution, and the cadence of litigation: skills that do not come from textbooks, but from showing up, case after case, and delivering. She prepares thoroughly and knows how to shift gears in real time when a hearing turns unexpectedly.
Beyond her assertive style is a layered legal mind that thrives on creative problem-solving and strategic thinking. She knows when to be forceful and when to be flexible. Her ability to quickly assess case dynamics and determine the most effective path forward makes her a trusted lead on complex litigation matters.
Before entering private practice, Kasia served in the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office, where she gained extensive trial experience across traffic, misdemeanor, DUI, felony juvenile, and domestic violence courtrooms. Her time there gave her a fast-paced trial foundation, sharpened her instincts, and cemented her confidence as a frontline advocate. Notably, Kasia was part of the prosecution team that worked alongside State’s Attorney Joseph E. Birkett in the highly publicized case against convicted serial killer and rapist, Brian Dugan. Since entering family law practice full time in 2014, she has represented clients in contested divorce, custody disputes, orders of protection, domestic violence cases, and complex financial matters with the same fierce commitment to preparation and results.
A multiple-year Super Lawyers Rising Star honoree, Kasia is widely respected in the legal community for both her skill and tenacity. Kasia is not just a litigator, she’s a strategist. When decisive action is needed, when the case demands strength over diplomacy, or when the courtroom becomes the only option left, she brings the kind of presence, experience, and intensity that gets the job done.
