Nicole Valenti, Senior Partner and Chief Compliance Officer handled my divorce that wrapped up this month. She was always responsive, professional and extremely knowledgeable. She was clear in laying out all of my options, risks, and recommendations for the best course of action. Additionally, she was a strong team player if I decided to go in a direction that may not be traditional. The opposing counsel was quite aggressive and in the end found to be somewhat inept. Nicole recognized this and found ways to turn this into advantages for my side of the case. The entire case was handled virtually (phone calls, portals and emails) which was very important as I live out of state. In fact I didn?t have to attend one hearing as she represented me. She was diligent about billing and no charges appeared to be out of what was expected. Nicole is someone you can trust, works to find the smoothest path forward and was extremely professional in handling my case. I was lucky to find her and would recommend her to anyone in my situation!

This review is the most important thing I have done today because it serves two purposes: for you, who are reading and might be in a similar situation, to help decide; and to give the proper recognition to the quality of service Taege Law has provided to me. Please notice that - although many issues have been resolved favorably - I still do not know the outcome of the major issue at hand: so I am writing this review in the most unbiased way, perfectly aware that it may not fully go my way, but also certain that Teage has given me the best shot I could possibly ask for. If you are reading this, it means you are in for one of the biggest challenges of your life and it's time to ask yourself what's truly important to you; if you care less about the outcome and more about upsetting your ex or saving money, then you may not be the right client. But if you care about having the best shot at a favorable outcome and even moral support (yes, you will find out very soon how even that goes a long way), then keep reading. Without going into the details, I called Taege for a nasty child custody battle. My very first call was with Michael (the Principal Partner) and it didn't take me long to know I was in the right place: I was adamant that I had done nothing wrong, so I was naive in thinking this would go away amicably. He was the first person who opened my eyes about how serious the situation was; but he was also the first lawyer of the three I had spoken to that gave me a sense of "you are in good hands". My case was assigned to Nicole (Valenti); Nicole has always been impeccable, very nice, accommodating, and compassionate (which as I mentioned above, you will find surprisingly helpful during the ordeal). For one thing, she is super smart, and really thinks outside the box; if you are against someone with deep pockets or particularly litigious (as I am), having someone that can find ways to make the other party "reason" without going to extremes will go a long way. Another thing is that she is super competent and trustworthy: she will keep you in line as to what kind of behavior/actions will work in your favor and what to avoid. There has been some outrageous (not to say outright dishonest) behavior from the other party towards me: there have been times I was so outraged that I wanted to react in ways that could have been detrimental; fortunately, because of Nicole's ability to build a trust with me through her actions and advice , I consulted with her first and always followed her recommendations and I know that my position has STRENGTHENED as a result of it. I have also appreciated the time she has spent guiding me through the steps, and explaining to me how the system works; as someone unfamiliar with the law, I thought we could just go in front of the judge, show him/her evidence that nothing happened, and walk out. And if you have been wronged, I know that you just want to yell your frustration and show your evidence; but the system doesn't work that way: so having someone that is constantly by your side and tells you what the next steps are and what to expect out of them is key for both the outcome you seek and your state of mind. Finally, she is so patient and brings a human side into these difficult times, that often have kept me going when I was almost about to give up. I don’t know what the next few months will bring: but I know that nothing more could have been done, and that the service I received was the best I could get. Knowing what I know now, Teage law would have been the very first and only call. I have also found all the staff extremely courteous and friendly and going above and beyond. Once again: if you are here reading this review is because you will have tough times ahead of you: if you care about the best representation, the best possible outcome, and being treated with tact and compassion that you will need, I cannot recommend this Law Firm enough.
