I am writing this review based on MY PERSONAL experience with this law firm. I was in an auto accident on 7/1/2019, I was recommended to this law firm from a family member and I trusted their quality of work (BIG MISTAKE). From the beginning of work Mary Liza and Morgan, I can count on one hand how many time I spoke with them until today 6/22/20. They do not return emails, phone calls, NOTHING, and will have to confused, blind sided on your case. Throughout this entire process, I had no idea most or if not anything pertaining to my auto case. Their quality of work, response time, customer service is poor and should be improved. I am very disappointed I wasted months with this law firm, when I should have went with someone with more experience. I am convinced they just didn't know what they were doing or didn't get a hoot. After trying and trying to get a hold of someone from the office, I spoke to someone name Kathryn. She mentioned on 6/2020 that these lawyers were going to go to trial and it would be a 99% chance of wining, and again I'm finally that I actually got a hold of someone. But after that, I get a letter stating that they would not pursue my claim, so I'm a bit confused because from what your associate KATHRYN said that we were straight, but to get a letter stating you wont continue with me is a joke. YOU DON'T HAVE THE COMMON COURTESY TO CALL ME AND EXPLAIN WHY, THAT YOUR COWARDLY SELVES WOULD RATHER SEND A LETTER. SO I'M HIGHLY UPSET THAT I WASTED MONTHS WITH A PISS POOR LAW FIRM THAT DID NOTHING TO IMPROVE MY CASE. IF YOU WANT QUALITY WORK, AND AT LEAST CUSTOMER SERVICE, I WOULD SUGGEST SEEKING ANOTHER LAW FIRM.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

Comfort Level
- Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?

Credentials
- How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?

Cost
- How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?

City
- Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
