Verified ClientHired Law firm 2024-2025Kevin, Emmanuel and their whole team are heroes. It started with a free consultation that armed me with crucial knowledge in order to protect myself, and turned into a full blown lawsuit that resulted in a settlement in my favor. A major win by every measure. Communication was sometimes sparse, but I was never in the dark. Sometimes things just move slowly. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

Verified ClientHired Law firm 2021Not only did Kevin help me with an initial debt collector issue, when I messed up the results and didn't find out for 2 years, he was able to help me resolve my mistake with minimal fuss. I would definitely hire him again.

Hired Law firm 2025Spoke with Kevin Crick on the intial call, he treated the case as if he was excited to go after the company and do what was in my best interest, sent a contract almost immediately. He requested all the documentation I had and strung me along for 6 months, then sent an email saying they were not going to file suit. Waste of time. Do not recommend. This firm would have mutiple people call or email me asking for the same thing, after 2 weeks of speaking with the attorney and he himself stating he did not meed the document. Poor communication in the office and a true let down. Do not recommend unless you are looking to have your time wasted and be let down.

Hired Law firm 2022-2023Kevin Crick was amazing and helped me a lot in a tough situation. He really worked hard to make sure that I got what was mine and managed to get a good settlement. Highly recommend.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
