Spoke with Kevin Crick on the intial call, he treated the case as if he was excited to go after the company and do what was in my best interest, sent a contract almost immediately. He requested all the documentation I had and strung me along for 6 months, then sent an email saying they were not going to file suit. Waste of time. Do not recommend. This firm would have mutiple people call or email me asking for the same thing, after 2 weeks of speaking with the attorney and he himself stating he did not meed the document. Poor communication in the office and a true let down. Do not recommend unless you are looking to have your time wasted and be let down.

He was kind and listened to my concerns and advised me on how to proceed either on my own or with the assistance of his firm. I decided to retain his services to assist me. I am so happy that I made that choice. He was able to help me come to the resolution that I was looking for and I don't think it would have happened without his help. If you are looking for help with any consumer protection matter, I highly recommend consulting with this firm and if you hire them, I promise you'll be glad you did!

Very responsive, retuned my call until he could reach me. Provided with the contact information I needed to get the process started that would assist me to protect my identity. Both knowledgeable and informative and also I must say encouraging as he relayed that I should not feel any way down or disappointed with myself as the situation I was facing could be resolved and that it is something that happens to many. Just that statement was so uplifting as I did feel foolish to let something of the nature I was dealing with happen.

Some lawyers publish comparative information regarding the services that they provide which may be subject to specific comparative communications restrictions.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
