Boston Very Serious Personal Injury Law Firm
Overview
Greene LLP, Boston "Whistleblower" Lawyers
Located on Liberty Square in Boston's financial district, the lawyers at Greene LLP have been pursuing cases under the False Claims Act for more than 20 years. This Massachusetts-based law firm takes on "whistleblower" cases nationwide.
Also known as "qui tam" cases, whistleblower cases usually involve an individual who sues a company for fraudulent behavior on behalf of the U. S. or a state government. Whistleblowers may receive up to 30 percent of the monies recovered by the government.
Our law firm has more than two decades of false claims litigation experience. Our lead attorney, Thomas Greene, testified before Congress at a 2013 committee hearing on the False Claims Act.
Our team of five attorneys has successfully sued large pharmaceutical companies, recovering more than $700 million on behalf of the U. S. government. They have represented whistleblowers in several industries, including health care, postal, import, utilities and defense. Greene LLP even accepts cases the government declines to pursue. We also handle cases that have been denied.
Our hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern time. We offer free initial consultations. We work on a contingency basis, which means we get paid only if we win.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level
- - Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials
- - How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost
- - How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City
- - Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
