Hired Law firm 2022After I was hit by a car, while riding a motorcycle, I called Eric Stempien. He came out to the inpatient rehab that I was in to get my information. Everything was taken care of with minimal work on my end. It was a quick and easy process. Every question I had was answered! Every bill that I had was paid, and I was fairly compensated for my pain. Very professional and personable team!

Hired Law firm 2019-2020My professional reputation means the world to me; I was not going to allow anyone to take that away from me. I found myself pulled into a situation that would leave most with their jaws on the ground and literally a situation that daily I asked myself this seriously can not be happening. Eric Stempien was a referral from a close friend; when I met with him I knew he believed me and I knew he was going to do whatever it took to stop the madness that had engulfed my life. It was a long road but we won good prevails over evil. I would recommend Eric we were up against a National big name big bucks law firm and walked away victorious

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
