Hired Law firm 2023-2024I just came back from the trip of my life with my daughter thanks to Anthony Stuart. I had a very bad divorce and restrictions including traveling with my daughter. Anthony was instrumental to modify the original judgment to a new that is fair for a parent that only wants the best for her daughter. From the moment I had a consultation with Anthony, I felt he listened to my concerns, asked me a couple of questions and provided me with options that were reasonable in my circumstance. Anthony, handled my case professionally, he was responsive and over communicative to ensure I did not miss any important detail for my case. He advocated for my position with knowledge, experience, and grace. Anthony tried as much as he could to avoid trial and by thinking out of the box to try to get a settlement agreement. Whether in negotiations with the other party or at the court, Anthony shined like a star and helped me get the outcome was the most beneficial for my daughter. I can't thank and recommend Anthony and his team enough.

Consulted Law firm 2022The website states that the Levine Law Firm offers free consultations. They, in fact, do not. I paid the $200 for a one-hour consultation on our case. The attorney called and reviewed our documents during the hour I paid for to be told there was nothing to be done except that he would represent us when things had changed. Never once did he ask the history of the case nor the particulars. After 15 minutes and $200 later, the call ended. I will not be hiring this attorney now or in the future.

Hired Law firm 2020Recommend this firm for family law issue. Dealt with a divorce and custody case with an ex who was trying to be unfair with the custody arrangement. Ended up getting a good and fair result compared to what they offered initially. Spent quite a bit of money but I could not have done it on my own, thank you!

Hired Law firm 2019-2020My son worked with Andrew on a complicated divorce involving custody and had a very good experience. Our time at court went well and it was argued well before the judge. The staff at the law firm was really good as far as communication and ultimately he was very pleased with my experience.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
