Verified ClientHired Attorney 2019-2020Son worked with Andrew on a divorce/custody matter and it went very well. Definitely a complicated, and stressful process, but in the end he was pleased with the results and the work and effort that went into it.

Hired Attorney 2022This attorney took a retainer, then kept over This attorney took over $800 of my money and did not provide any value or advice. AVOID HIM!

Hired Attorney 2018Mr Levine handled my case in 2018. Wasnt very confident with DHS and would not help gain records to help my case. This is the lawyer that will tell you " you wiil have to except what the other side is will to offer". Witch was nothing. No fight just roll over.

Hired Attorney 2021Now here is why I give Andrew Levine a 5-star rating. I was referred to Andrew Levine by attorney Joe Di Bartolomeo, who lives in Astoria, where I also live. Therefore, I did a Google Search for Andrew Levine and found his website. I viewed Andrew’s website in the late evening so I couldn’t. So, when I saw the Chat pop up, I decided to give it a try. When the person doing the chat asked if, I had a case number, I had a sense, she/he knew how to screen potential clients. At the end of our chat, she/he said that someone, would contact me tomorrow, l thought to myself, someone will actually call me on Saturday? Now here is why I give Andrew Levine a 5-star rating. He called me on Saturday and when he mentioned my scooter injury case would be a perfect ORS 20.080 meaning a case under $10,000. I knew he had the 5-star knowledge and his was willingness to take my case was awesome. Another 5-star about Andrews client/attorney relationship. before he hung up the call, he told me to make sure to save the phone number, because it was his private number. 5-thumbs up! David W

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
