We had a lawsuit that involved beloved neighbors and she handled what could have been a relationship-ending situation with such grace and pinache, there was never a moment where it was awkward or uncomfortable. Regarding the legal/financial aspects, Dina was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable to make sure we understood every step of the process. In regards to advocacy, Dina was second to none. We had significant medical bills and our insurance was not the easiest to work with. Dina ensured that we were covered in every aspect and even fought for us to be refunded when our PT overcharged us. While it was a tragedy that brought us to Astor Weiss Kaplan & Mandel, Dina made it an easy and stressless process and we will forever be grateful to her.

Hired Law firm 2025Julie Auerbach was horrible, if you are a single black woman find another family lawyer. I went to Julie in hopes of not having my daughter taken away by false accusations, instead I now have to pay over $400 monthly to the person who abused me physically and verbally and still don’t have my daughter . Julie charged me 5k and made me feel like a bad mother for standing up for myself. She charged me for everything, $65 for a half hour phone call, $40- 50 to send an email. I am disgusted, I was in a vulnerable state and feel I was taking advantage of because of my situation. Do not I repeat do not use Julie Auerbach. She will only take your money and make you feel horrible. While not helping you get your child back.
