Hired Law firm 2025Brian Quinn is the absolute best. He takes his time to fully gather details of the case, always has a prompt personal response. He is exceptionally committed to gaining a favorable outcome, which he was able to do so for me. Both he and his staff are exceptionally professional and organized. I would highly recommend Mr. Quinn.

Hired Law firm 2020-2024The worst experience. I paid a retainer, chased my attorney (Roger) for years, would never get call backs or replies, requested that he file for support, he didn't send the forms for months, I filled them out multiple times and started sending with tracking, he kept claiming that the postal service or the city lost them, i asked him to file for a master and he never did, I emailed Brian requesting a new attorney and never got a response, I found a new attorney which cost me $8k more. I asked for a portion of my retainer back and was ignored. I came to find out that Roger never even had my ex's attorney on file for almost 3 years, so what work was actually being done in that time????

Consulted Law firm 2021-2022Brian Quinn was efficient in handling my case with Board of Nursing. Brian has a wealth of knowledge and he made me feel safe to go back to work again. Brian took his time to explain all the information from the Board of Nursing, and I not only felt empowered but I felt 100% comfortable with the direction he took the case. In the end my license was not revoked or suspended. I now have peace of mind. I do not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
